Biography:
Ms. Maguire-Eisen is the founder of the Children's Melanoma Prevention Foundation. She has been an oncology nurse for over twenty years and a nurse practitioner for the past fifteen. She became interested in skin oncology while working at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in the mid-eighties. She believes that skin cancer is the one form of cancer that nurses can truly make a difference in both prevention and early detection. She is the President of the Massachusetts Dermatology Nurses Association and the Chair of the Dermatology Nurses Association Skin Cancer Workshop. She has been recognized by the Dermatology Nurses Association with awards in community service and research.
