Cindy Rice Andrea, author of storybooks about healthy and safe eating with parent-child activities included in each book.

Cindy Rice Andrea, author and national speaker, will be at Storybook Cove Friday, September 17 at 10:00 a.m. to read some of her stories to children ages 2+ and to talk about food safety with parents and other adults.

After everyone (children Ages 2+) listen to some fun and informative stories about food safety,  the children will do a craft with Janet, while the adults will have time to discuss food safety with Cindy, a food preparation professional.

  • In her 10 Green Apple Tales books, Cindy captures the basics of safe food handling. "Keeping the world safe from food-borne illness starts with our children," says Cindy, a food safety educator with extensive experience training the food service industry.  Her goal is to help parents teach their children, one story at a time, and give them the important like skills they need to keep families safe and healthy.
