NEW ENGLAND BOOK AWARDS
Titles submitted for the New England Book Awards must be either about New England, set in New England, or by an author residing in New England. Submissions can be hardcovers, paperback originals, or reissues. Submissions must publish between September 1, 2020 and August 31, 2021. The award categories are Children's, Middle Grade, Young Adult, Adult Fiction, Adult Nonfiction, and Poetry.
NEIBA (NEW ENGLAND INDEPENDENT BOOKSELLERS ASSOCIATION) members submit titles; a committee picks the 5 finalists in each category; and the members then vote on the winners. Winners are announced at the Fall Conference and each winner will receive a $250 donation to the literary charity of their choice.
