eeBoo's Pachisi game is based on an ancient Indian game known as Chaupar. It is believed to have been invented sometime around the 4th century A.D., and was originally played in teams of two. Chaupar was popular among Indian aristocracy and emperors, and it was even featured in the Mahabharata, the world's longest epic poem and a significant Hindu text.
